The actuator withstands temperatures up to 80 °C (176 °F), so for higher media temperatures the actuator should be cooled. The spring closed actuator has an aluminum housing with aluminum covers. ATEX (EX II 2GD c 85 °C (size 12 or greater: 110 deg;C) certified for explosive environments. The actuator has G 1\/4 inch air ports and a 1\/4 Namur interface to directly mount a solenoid valve.
