Power Beyond or Closed Centre Kit for Hydraulic Hand Lever Valves
Retrofit kit for modular hydraulic hand lever valve blocks, fitted at the outlet section. Either blocks the pressureless circulation for use with a variable displacement pump, or passes the pump flow on to a further valve block (power beyond). G1/2 port.

Description
As standard, the pump flow returns pressureless from P to T whenever all levers are in neutral, which suits a gear pump. This kit changes that. Plug its G1/2 port and the circulation is blocked, for a variable displacement pump. Connect a line to it instead and the pump flow passes on to a second valve block (power beyond); the return to tank then runs through port T1. One kit per control block.
Pros:
- One kit for closed centre or power beyond
- Retrofits to an existing control block
- G1/2 port for the line to a second valve block
Cons:
- With the port plugged, the block needs a variable displacement pump - not for gear pumps
Series:
Modular hydraulic hand lever valves for mobile and industrial machines. A control block is built from an inlet section with an adjustable pressure relief valve (40 to 320 bar), one to nine hand lever sections and an outlet section, clamped together with the tie rod set for that number of sections. Lever sections are double-acting with A and B blocked or open to tank in neutral, or single-acting with A blocked. In neutral, the pump flow returns pressureless to tank through a neutral bypass channel. The levers spring back to neutral as standard; detent kits hold them in position 1, 2 or both. An optional kit gives closed centre for a variable displacement pump, or power beyond to a second block. P and T ports G1/2, A and B ports G3/8. Inlet pressure up to 320 bar, return pressure max 35 bar. Nominal flow 50 l/min for blocks with 1 or 2 lever sections, 45 l/min for 3 to 5, 40 l/min for 6 or 7 and 35 l/min for 8 or 9. Steel and plastic bodies, NBR seals, for mineral oil of 10 to 300 mm²/s from -30 to +90 °C. Also known as sectional control valves.
